What is project integration management?

This term is specifically referred to the coordination of all the elements present in a project. A project that is undergoing the process towards its completion is getting there through multiple phases such as coordinating tasks, coordinating resources, coordinating resources and coordinating any other project elements in addition to managing all the aspects of the project. It also involves making trade-offs between competing requests and evaluating resources. This can be understood better with this example that there is an undergoing project but it is not on the suggested or planned track so some changes are needed to be made. Now it depends upon the project management professional to decide whether to go a little bit over budget to end this project well and on time or to increase the time span of the completion of the project in order to save resources. Judging the situation carefully and then taking the best decision for the project is the core part of the project completion management. Integrated project management mainly focuses on the point that the decision regarding the project are not taken in isolation. It is taken into account that how different aspects of your project are related to each-other and how other parts of your organisation related to the project. All of this information is considered critical for the project managers and the projects under their hold for them to be successful.
